June Update

It’s hard to believe school is out and once again summer is upon us. As I look at our calendar, I see many exciting things happening in our church. One of the things I have enjoyed the most since being here is the opportunity to be a part of so many different events with our church. Whether it is a fundraiser selling hotdogs with our teens, to flying kites with our children or even the Triple L lunch with our seniors. I’ve really enjoyed spending time with you.

After a couple of months of being here these times have allowed me the opportunity to get to know you better. I imagine the same thing could be said for each of us. Fellowship is vital to ministry. As we go out and do the Lord’s work it’s nice to know somebody else is doing it with us. So here is my challenge for the month, find something that is going on and get involved. Maybe it’s joining a life group, or playing some volleyball, maybe it’s the monthly senior’s luncheon or one of our prayer groups that meet on alternate Saturday’s. Maybe it’s our midweek service or joining a ministry. I invite you to get involved, meet somebody you don’t know and not only do Church, but be the church.
